PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hopper structure of an incinerator capable of positioning an input slot of waste material as low as possible without changing mounting position of a hopper and its method of application. SOLUTION: In the hopper structure of the incinerator equipped with a first opening/closing lid 2 structuring a part of an outer wall of the hopper H mounted in a combustion chamber A and a second opening/closing lid 3 for blocking communication between inside of the hopper H and inside of the combustion chamber, a bucket B for temporarily storing the waste material 7 is mounted at the hopper H in a vertically rotatable manner and a pushing member 6 for moving the temporarily stored waste material into the hopper is provided in the bucket.
