PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase capable of operating a temperature of a commodity display room for displaying commodities with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This showcase comprising the commodity display room 2 opened at its front face and provided with a plurality of commodity display racks 21-25 for displaying the commodities in several stages along the vertical direction, an air circulating unit 3 for circulating the air between the inside and outside of the commodity display room 2 through a supply opening 26 for supplying the air into the commodity display chamber 2 and a suction opening 27 for sucking the air inside of the commodity display chamber 2, and an evaporator 4 for cooling the air circulated by the air circulating unit 3, and keeping the commodities inside of the commodity display room 2 at a desired temperature state, further comprises a control unit 7 for calculating a temperature of the commodity display room 2 in response to a distance from the supply opening 26 on the basis of the supply opening temperature and a ratio of temperature change of the air flowing from the supply opening 26 to the suction opening 27.
