PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually operated valve capable of performing the opening/closing operation very simply and quickly irrespective of the place of installing and of eliminating the necessity for the valve to be motorized. SOLUTION: The manually operated valve is composed of a valve body able to be opened and closed by reciprocative motions of the valve stem in the axial direction and a decelerating mechanism coupled with the valve body, wherein the decelerating mechanism is equipped with a gear train leading from an input gear shaft able to be fitted in while the axis is located identical to the rotary shaft of a rotational power tool to an output gear installed concentrically with the valve stem, whereby capable of transmitting the power from the rotary shaft to the valve stem through the decelerating mechanism to put it in reciprocative motions. The output gear is threadedly meshed with the valve stem or engaged. The rotational power tool should preferably be selected as engaged removably with the input gear shaft, where it is possible to favorably use a motor-driven impact driver or a motor-driven impact wrench of chargeable type.
