PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal insulating system for a glass window capable of preventing the condensation in winter, at the same time, improving heating efficiency and making air conditioning efficiency improve in summer by installing it inside of the existing glass window. SOLUTION: The glass window consists of a head 2, a sill 3, both right and left jambs 4 and 5 and a central vertical frame 6 provided in a middle part between both right and left jambs 4 and 5, and a frame body 1 providing a plurality of guide grooves 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 respectively to the head 2 and the sill 3 is fitted to the inside of a window frame of the glass window. A heat insulating door 13 is constituted of a set of three panels 14, 15 and 16. The panels 14, 15 and 16 are respectively slidably fitted to the guide grooves 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the frame body 1. Projections 14a, 15a, 15b, 16a and 16b overhanging at right angles and engaging when a gap between both panels is covered and, at the same time, opened and closed are provided to the ends of the panels 14 , 15 and 16.
