摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an alignment operation for aligning the direction of recording media to be executed and to prevent damage of the recording media by the alignment operation and lack of alignment thereof regardless of the types of the recording media, in a recording device for recording images in a plurality of types of recoding media. SOLUTION: A printer for recording images on a recording sheet 100 including a passbook 110, a single-cut sheet 120 and a large single-cut sheet 130 is provided with first driven rollers 43A-F for striking the recording sheet 100 against an alignment plate 37 positioned in a transport path of the recording sheet 100 to align its direction; and alignment-time energization springs 46A-C for energizing the first driven rollers 43A-F. The first driven rollers 43A-F are divided into three sets each comprising two of them; and are energized by the alignment-time energization springs 46A-C having spring force values different from one another on a set basis.
