PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage bag holder allowing the opening of the garbage bag to be easily opened and closed. SOLUTION: This garbage bag holder 1 is provided with: a fixed-side edge part reception member 11 for receiving a partial edge part 21E in an opening/closing direction of the opening 20 of the garbage bag 2; a movable-side edge part reception member 12 for receiving a partial edge part 22E in the opening/closing direction of the opening 20 of the garbage bag 2; fixation means 13 for fixing the respective partial edge parts of the garbage bag 2 and the respective edge part reception members; a leg member 14 for supporting the fixed-side edge part reception member 11; and a guide means 15 mounted to the fixed-side edge part reception member 12 for guiding and moving the movable-side edge part reception member 12 between a position for closing the opening 20 of the garbage bag 2 and a position for opening the opening 20 of the garbage bag 2.
