PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, a sheet conveying method and a sheet conveying program capable of restricting break out of malfunction when conveying sheets without hindering reduction of costs and miniaturization of the device. SOLUTION: This image forming device has a driving unit 101 for driving an intermediate conveying roller 38 for conveying sheets to a resist roller 37 for correcting bias feeding of the conveyed sheets, a drive control unit 102 for driving the intermediate conveying roller 38 for acceleration by supplying the first driving current to the driving unit 101 and while for driving the intermediate conveying roller for equal velocity operation by supplying the current smaller than the first driving current to the driving unit 101, and a timing determination unit 103 for determining timing of equal velocity drive of the intermediate conveying roller 38 by supplying the current smaller than the first driving current after driving the intermediate conveying roller 38 for acceleration by supplying the first current to the driving unit 101. The drive control unit 102 supplies the first driving current to the driving unit 101, while prolonging the time for supplying the first driving current to the driving unit 101 by the predetermined time, in the case wherein the timing determination unit 103 determines that timing for driving the intermediate conveying roller for acceleration concluded.
