An image forming apparatus having a scanning apparatus which is adjustable to fit a focal length of a lens according to the scanning apparatus and an image forming apparatus comprising the same. The scanning apparatus comprising a stage glass to seat a paper on an upper surface thereof; a sensor unit pressed and supported toward a planar surface of the stage glass, and comprising a slide way inclined toward the stage glass at a predetermined angle; a slide member supported by the slide way of the sensor unit and provided with an upper end thereof, to contact the stage glass; and a fixing means to fix the slide member to the slide way.
