<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack in which the fuel cell stack is made to be cooled by a plurality of cooling systems thereby which has a high cooling capacity, can adjust the cooling capacity easily and appropriately and maintain the temperature of the fuel cell stack at an appropriate temperature even in wide temperature range and in an environment with large temperature change, and can increase output of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack has a fuel cell interposing an electrolyte layer by a fuel electrode and an oxygen electrode, which is laminated interposing a separator unit 12. The separator unit has a coolant passage for cooling the fuel cell formed inside and comprises a separator main body of plate-shape which shuts off a gas supplied to the fuel electrode and a gas supplied to the oxygen electrode and a current collector of mesh-shape which is installed at one side or both sides of the separator main body and radiates the heat generated in the fuel cell and also collects the current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
