<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can degrade an output if an incorrect password is entered or no password is entered when a print job with a password set is direct-printed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus capable of direct-printing of print jobs has means for determining whether or not a password is set in an input print job, means for determining whether or not an entered password is correct if the determination finds that a password is set in the print job, and means for forming a degraded image of the print job if the determination finds that an incorrect password is entered or no password is entered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
