<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an opening/closing control unit for an on-vehicle electric opening/closing body, which can surely prevent the malfunction of making a sunroof panel turned upside down in a state except an overloaded state. <P>SOLUTION: This opening/closing control unit for the on-vehicle electric opening/closing body comprises: a current detecting means for detecting a driving current of an electric motor which drives the on-vehicle opening/closing body in such a manner as to open/close it; a control circuit which outputs a stop signal or an inversion signal for the electric motor when the variation of the driving current detected by the current detecting means after each lapse of fixed time between timings exceeds a preset overload threshold, and which corrects the overload threshold to a higher threshold when the detected driving-current value after a lapse of first predetermined time from the start of the electric motor exceeds a set current value; and a driving circuit which controls the driving of the electric motor by receiving the stop signal or the inversion signal for the electric motor from the control circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
