<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-standing packaging container for a microwave oven, which has a vent hole structure 30 for automatically releasing steam in a packaging bag upon heating by the microwave oven, efficiently stores the contents in the container in a frozen state, allows the contents to be evenly heated, exhibits stable self-standing performance, prevents the liquid contents filling it from boiling over due to heating by the microwave oven, and enables the operator to safely take out the container, and to provide the packaging body 100. <P>SOLUTION: The self-standing packaging container is formed of the flat soft packaging body 10a and a sleeve-shaped cardboard 20. The packaging body 10a has the vent hole structure 30 arranged on the upper portion, for releasing steam occurring upon heating by the microwave oven. The cardboard 20 is for use in storing the flat soft packaging body 10a for the microwave oven, and has an opening in one end thereof, so as to expose the vent hole structure 30 formed on the flat soft packaging body 10a for the microwave oven to the outside.
