<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition which can form uniform planar low refractive index layers at high speeds without deteriorating the characteristics of the low refractive index layers of anti-reflective films, to provide an optically functional layer using the coating composition, and to provide an anti-reflective film. <P>SOLUTION: A curable resin composition is characterized by comprising a compound capable of being polymerized with heat or by the irradiation of active energy rays and having a weight-average mol. wt. of ≥100,000 converted into polystyrene.
