<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid separating device having small and simple equipment construction for efficiently separating high-concentration nitrogen gas from air without using a cold recovery heat exchanger, an expansion turbine or liquid nitrogen. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid separating device comprises an air separating duct line 3 fixed to a first cold generation part 2 in thermal contact, a liquid air reservoir 4 connected to one end 3a of the air separating duct line 3 via a pipe and arranged at a position lower than the air separating duct line 3, a heater 5 fixed to the liquid air reservoir 4, a gas transfer pipe 6 connected to the other end 3b of the air separating duct line 3 and having a room temperature side gas transfer pipe end 6a, and a first valve 7 laid on the midway of the gas transfer pipe 6.
