<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make execution extremely easy and reduce execution time when attaching adjacent handrail members along a wall first since a recessed member 2a and a projecting member 1a are connected with each other by an expandable member 3 in a state of fittingly holding the projecting member 1a in the recessed member 2a and make the projecting member 1a and the recessed member 2a move flexibly at any positions and enable the handrail to be easily removed by separation of the recessed member 2a and the projecting member 1a through cutting of the expandable member 3 coupling the recessed member 2a with the projecting member 1a when removing the attached handrail member. <P>SOLUTION: The connector comprises two members 1, 2 which enable opposing ends of the adjacent handrail members A, B to be fitted and fixed. One of the members has at least the half spherical projecting member 1a and the other has the recessed member 2a fittingly holding the projecting member.
