<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display medium which takes an effective visual effect to make a light diffraction structure appear as if it were painted in a desired color. <P>SOLUTION: This image display medium 1 comprises a light diffraction structure part 21 constituted of a halftone dot-like light diffraction structure, formed in a colored region 20 on a base material 10. In addition, the halftone dot area ratio of a halftone dot 21a constituting the light diffraction structure part 21 to the colored region 20, is 15 to 60%.
