PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone in which voice or music can be clearly and loudly listened, and when a stereo speaker is used, sufficient sound expansion can be obtained by setting a distance between speakers to a long distance. SOLUTION: The portable telephone 1 is provided with a speaker loading case 3 to be rotated around an operation casing 1b. The speaker loading case 3 is connected to the operation casing 1b through a hinge 4. The speaker loading case 3 loaded with a speaker 5 can be stored in a storage formed on the back of the operation casing 1b.
