PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material having low fog and excellent preservability and stability with respect to a heat developable photosensitive material suitable for use in the fields of a medical diagnostic film, a photoengraving process film, etc. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material has, on at least one surface of a support, an image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for silver ions and a binder, wherein the heat developable photosensitive material contains a polymer latex as the binder and a compound represented by formula (I) as the reducing agent, and also contains at least two couplers each capable of forming a dye by reaction with the oxidized product of the reducing agent in the same layer.
