PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic damper device arbitrarily forming a historical characteristic as a metallic damper using a plastic metallic body to be broadly-applicable. SOLUTION: The metallic damper is provided with an arbitral and new historical characteristic having a plurality of yield points, by combining a plurality of kinds of metallic elements different in historical characteristic. Therefore, a control of stiffness as a whole device, a control of the yield points, and a control of an own natural period are implemented, so that vibrational energy when earthquakes occur is effectively absorbed and minimize earthquake energy exerted on structures to keep the structures healthy.
