A light wavelength stabilization control circuit comprising a current operating means being supplied with first and second photodetection currents obtained by performing photoelectric conversion to the output light from a light source through first and second wavelength filters having different light wavelength characteristics and performing subtraction to the first and second photodetection currents after multiplying them by different coefficients, an integrating means for integrating the output from the current operating means, and a temperature control means for controlling the temperature of the light source based on the output signal from the integrating means. With such an arrangement, operation error can be reduced while widening the dynamic range.
