<p>The invention relates to a device for fixing cannulas and similar instruments to a part of the human body. The inventive device comprises a band which is secured to the skin at the body part in question. The aforementioned band is made from a flexible, resistant and porous laminar material, the lower face of which is covered with a hypoallergenic adhesive, said band extending laterally into tongue pieces that are intended for the immediate securing of the cannula or similar instrument. The invention also comprises a fixing band, the lower part of which is also covered with a layer of hypoallergenic adhesive that is temporarily protected by a removable sheet. The invention further comprises a sheet for protecting the body part on which the device is applied. The invention is used to fix a cannula or similar instrument to a patient in a secure and bloodless manner.</p> |
