<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical gas sensor that allows certain supply of electrolytic solution to an electrode body constituting a positive electrode, and can certainly take a signal from the electrode body. <P>SOLUTION: The oxygen sensor of Galvanic type detects oxygen with a reduction current occurring in the positive electrode and negative electrode in contact with the electrolytic solution correspondingly to the concentration of the oxygen.
