<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a dye-sensitized solar cell capable of manufacturing the dye-sensitized solar cell having high charge transport efficiency by adsorbing the sufficient amount of dye, and having high optical power generation performance in spite of using a plastic substrate flexible compared with glass as a support. <P>SOLUTION: Metal oxide particles of a porous semiconductor layer are comprised of 5-95 wt% crystalline particles A and 5-95 wt% crystalline particles B, and the crystalline particles A and the crystalline particles B satisfy the following conditions. 50≤dsa≤250, 50≤dsb≤250, 5≤dla/dsa≤20, and 1≤dlb/dsb≤2.
