<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic inkjet ink composition suitably used for analyzing the behavior of discharge and flow of ink particles dispersed in a nonaqueous solvent in an electrostatic inkjet recorder, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic inkjet ink composition comprises at least a nonaqueous solvent and ink particles containing a fluorescent colorant. The method for producing the electrostatic inkjet ink composition comprises the steps of: (i) obtaining resin particles (CR) by radical polymerization of a radical polymerizable monomer in the presence of a dispersion-stabilizing resin (P) in a nonaqueous solvent; and (ii) coloring the resin particles (CR) with at least one fluorescent colorant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
