<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure of enabling a worker to perform the pulling-out work of a cold shrink tube unit. <P>SOLUTION: A cold shrink tube is pushed toward a diameter-expanding jig 9 by a pushing jig 10a to fit the cold shrink tube to the outside of a holding sleeve into which the diameter-expanding jig 9 is fitted. In this process, this diameter-expanding jig 9 is coupled to an anchor frame 23a via a positioning rod 22a to prevent its movement in the axial direction. The cold shrink tube unit comprising the cold shrink tube fitted to the outside of the holding sleeve can be pulled out of the rear portion of the diameter-expanding jig 9 without moving the diameter-expanding jig and the positioning rod. Furthermore, the preparation work of setting the cold shrink tube prior to expanding a diameter is performed by removing the positioning rod 22a.
