PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system efficiently acquiring node information to receive the distribution of contents from a plurality of contents nodes.

SOLUTION: The information distribution system comprises a plurality of node devices connected to one another. The first node device has a means for transmitting demand number information demand information showing the number of demands of unique identification information and node information to the second node device to request the transmission of node information showing a plurality of information storage node devices storing specific shared information out of shared information shared between the devices. The second node device has a means for retrieving node information for the number of demands included in the demand information and corresponding to the identification information when receiving a demand of specific shared information, and a means for transmitting node information for the number of demands to the first node device when node information for the number of demands or more is found, and transmitting found node information to the first node device when not found.
