<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain coater capable of separating and recovering an excess coating material individually in the coating of 2 layers on the surface of a web and stabilizing the curtain edge of a coating material to carry out uniform coating. <P>SOLUTION: In the curtain coater 10, a coating material supply apparatus N is provided with a center lip N1 which has a tip part N11 projected toward the web (w) side from tip parts N21, N21 of both side lips N2, N2 arranged outside of flow passages 11a, 12a of 2 kinds of coating materials (ta), (tb) in the outside of the web (w) in the width direction and is arranged between the flow passages 11a, 12a of 2 kinds of the coating materials (ta), (tb) and a projecting coating material separation means (pb) being in contact with the tip part N11 of the center lip N1 and individually separating 2 kinds of the excess coating materials (ta1), (tb1) jetted from the coating material feeding apparatus N is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
