<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of preventing a pressing member from being inserted into a connector body, when a connection object has not been completely inserted into the connector body. <P>SOLUTION: Since each lock part 15 is formed of a non-elastic member, and the thickness of a pressing piece 32 of the pressing member 30 is so formed as to be reduced gradually as going toward the tip side by setting the distance of each lock part 15 and a fixed piece part 21 as the maximum thereof, the pressing member 30 will not be inserted to the rear side of the connector body 10, when a flexible cable A is not completely inserted into the connector body 10; and the flexible cable A is prevented from being connected in an incomplete insertion state. Thereby, contact failure due to the coming off of the flexible cable A from the connector body 10 or the occurrence of displacement between the flexible cable A and an elastic piece part 22 of each terminal 20 is surely prevented from occurring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
