PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone capable of setting to a radio wave off mode and allowing other people to be easily able to recognize the radio wave off mode. SOLUTION: When discriminating that a terminal 15 of a connection connector 16 is connected to ground (discrimination that a plug is plugged into the connection connector 16), a control circuit 11 inhibits supply of power to a telephone communication section 1 and a baseband section 3 or inhibits driving of the telephone communication section 1 and the baseband section 3 although power is supplied to the telephone communication section 1 and the baseband section 3.
