PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To help the health maintenance of a person abstaining from taking a bath for cold, a hospitalized person, the elderly, a bed-ridden person, a person in need of care and a person non-afforded to go to a hot-spring area in a manner suited for each person without exposing the skin while confirming the hot spring potency and effect. SOLUTION: This method for exerting hot spring potency and effect uses threads, a cloth, and paper formed by impregnating, applying and adding potent components of hot springs in various areas and potent chemical components thereto and uses underwear, socks and a carpet produced therefrom.
