PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately measure the prismaticity of a root part of a prism by a simple system, to highly accurately measure the angle formed between two planes by an inexpensive constitution, and also to measure even the angle of the root part. SOLUTION: This prismaticity measuring apparatus is provided with: a first illumination means 4 for emitting a light beam to one plane of a prism; a second illumination means 5 for emitting a light beam to another plane of the prism; an optical position detection means 1 for detecting the positions of incident light beams; a prism positioning means 3 for making the optical position detection means 1 to detect the light beam reflected at each plane of the prism; and a processing means 6 for computing the prismaticity of the prism. The processing means 6 computes the prismaticity between two planes of the prism on the basis of: the distance between two light beams detected by the optical position detection means 1; the distance between the two light beams on the prism; and the distance between the prism and the optical position detection means.
