PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making device of a refrigerator for uniformly making ice. SOLUTION: The ice making device 37 for the refrigerator 30 comprises an ice making tray 39 arranged in an ice making chamber 31 and an ice separating mechanism 38 arranged in the corner of the ice making tray 39. Cold air introduction holes 3, 4 are provided in the top and side walls of the ice making chamber 31 for supplying cold air from the upper and side parts of the ice making tray 39. The cold air introduction holes 3, 4 suppress the interference of the flow of cold air introduced from the upper part of the ice making tray 39 with the flow of cold air introduced from the side part thereof. In the ice making chamber 31, an upper cold air duct 1 and a side cold air duct 2 are provided for guiding cold air to the upper and side parts of the ice making tray 39. The upper cold air duct 1 is provided along a domed partition which is formed not to collide with the ice making tray 39 to be turned by the ice separating mechanism 38. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
