PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice dispenser capable of inhibiting the increase of purchase cost and running cost, and coping with variable demands of ice while inhibiting the increase of its installation space. SOLUTION: In this ice dispenser comprising an ice stocker 9 for storing supplied ice successively from a lower portion, and a detecting means 15 mounted on an upper portion of the ice stocker 9 for detecting that the stored ice reaches a prescribed height, and stopping the supply of ice to the ice stocker 9 when the detecting means 15 is operated, a side wall portion of the ice stocker 9 positioned at a lower portion with respect to the detecting means 15 can be vertically extended or shortened.
