PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camshaft support device capable of suppressing generation of noise and vibration and decline in a service life even when rolling bearings are used to reduce torque. SOLUTION: This camshaft support device 1 is provided with the first and second rolling bearings 5, 6 which are arranged inside a valve chamber D surrounded by a cylinder head 2 and a head cover 3 of an engine and rotatably support a camshaft 4 with respect to the cylinder head 2 and inside of which grease is enclosed; and with a shield S formed inside the cylinder head 2 and the head cover 3 and forming, inside the valve chamber D, a bearing chamber D1 where the first and second rolling bearings 5, 6 are arranged, while shielding lubricating oil of the engine by partitioning inside of the valve chamber D.
