PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain joint and a drainage system using the same, without damaging an abutting surface of a drain pipe inner periphery, even if a cleaning pipe body is inserted. SOLUTION: This drain joint is composed of a drain pipe 1, an insertion pipe 2 inserted into the drain pipe 1, and watertight packing 3 used for watertightly connecting the drain pipe 1 and the insertion pipe 2. The abutting surface 6 arranged on the inner peripheral surface of the drain pipe 1 and abutting on the watertight packing 3, is composed of a recessed groove 4 arranged along a peripheral surface of the drain pipe 1, or the front-rear of its abutting surface 6 is formed as a step part 5.
