PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small bundle bill handling device capable of reducing a cost, reducing a size, and taking out easily a small bundle of paid bills. SOLUTION: This small bundle bill handling device has a bundle sorting part 80 for receiving the small bundle of paid bills from a bundling part for bundling a prescribed number of accumulated loose bills with a bundle tape into the small bundle of bills, storing them while the plurality of bundles is accumulated, and a plurality of bundle storage parts 81-83 located under the bundle sorting part 80 to receive collectively the plurality of bundles of the small bundles of bills from the bundle sorting part 80, and for storing those on an elevatable bundle mounting plate 169. The bundle sorting part 80 can receive the small bundles of bills from, for example, the bundle storage part 83 to be stored while the plurality of bundles are accumulated, can convey the plurality of bundles of stored bills to a bundle payment port 90, and can store the plurality of bundles of the small bundles of bills loaded in the bundle sorting part 80 in the bundle storage parts 81-83 via the bundle payment port 90.
