摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode for electrolysis, which inhibits an anode effect from occurring even when synthesizing a fluorine-containing material with high current density, does not produce sludge due to the consumption of an electrode, generates little quantity of CF<SB>4</SB>gas, and enables a synthesis operation to be stably continued, and to provide an electrolytic synthesis method with the use of the anode. SOLUTION: The anode for electrolysis comprises: an electroconductive substrate having at least the surface formed from an electroconductive carbonaceous material; and an electroconductive carbonaceous film having a diamond structure, which is coated at least on one part of the substrate. When using the anode for electrolysis, the anode effect and the consumption of the electrode are inhibited, which enables a fluorine compound to be stably synthesized in a high current density with a high degree of efficiency for a long period of time.
