PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out only hollow particles having closed cells by separating the hollow particles simply and easily from impurities incorporated in the hollow particle recovered from a tire air space. SOLUTION: After a large number of the hollow particles for a safety tire each comprising resin continuous phases and closed cells surrounded by the continuous phases which are sealed in the tire air space partitioned by a tire and a rim are recovered with the impurities from the tire air space, when the hollow particles themselves are separated from the impurities, the recovered hollow particles 4 are immersed in a liquid 22 with the impurities 23, and only the hollow particles 4 floating on the surface of the liquid 22 are collected.
