PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for biochemical reaction, solving such a problem through a simple construction that a solution in a conventional cartridge may not be entirely defoamed, leading to occurrence of unreacted portions in a DNA microarray. SOLUTION: The cartridge for biochemical reaction essentially has an inlet through which a solution accumulated in a solution chamber is injected via a communicating path into a biochemical reaction chamber and an outlet through which the gas in the biochemical chamber is discharged from a gas discharge port on the surface of the cartridge for biochemical reaction via a discharge path, wherein for the inlet and the outlet, air discharge ports are located so as to be higher than the solution level in injecting the solution and stand against each other in the condition of injecting the reaction chamber with the solution.
