摘要 It is intended to provide a novel molybdenum ion transporter MoTR1 gene which controls molybdenum transport for the first time in plants and can more efficiently promote environmental molybdenum uptake and molybdenum transport in vivo. By QTL analysis between Arabidopsis accessions Col-0 and Ler, it is found out that a QTL controlling the Mo concentration in leaves is located on the second chromosome. Using the gene analysis method, the region having a causative gene is limited to a region of 172 kb. In this region, there is a gene At2g25680 which has a domain common to a sulfate ion transporter but the function of which has never been clarified. Thus, two individual gene disruption lines having a foreign gene fraction (T-DNA) inserted into At2g25680 are obtained and Mo concentrations in leaves are measured, thereby identifying the MoTR1 gene.
