<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase change optical recording medium capable of reducing cross-erase even when track pitch is narrowed and having high recording density. <P>SOLUTION: The phase change optical recording medium having a phase change recording film wherein recording/erasure is reversibly performed by irradiation with light, and a laminated dielectric film including a high refractive index dielectric film, a low refractive index dielectric film and a high refractive index dielectric film, on a light incident side of the phase change recording film, is characterized in that the low refractive index dielectric film is an SiOC film containing Si, O and C and having 0.1 to 30[at.%] C concentration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
