<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a camera capable of appropriately controlling light emission at flash-photographing even if an object is at a very close distance, and also, the quantity of light reflected at the preliminary light emission is excessive, and capable of flash-photographing with the appropriate exposure. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic camera includes an auxiliary light means, a 1st light receiving means for receiving the reflected light from the object at the preliminary light emission, a 1st light quantity control means for calculating/controlling the normal light emission in photographing based on the quantity of light received by the 1st light receiving means, a 2nd light receiving means for receiving the reflected light from the object at the normal light emission in photographing, and a 2nd light quantity controlling means for controlling the normal light emission in photographing based on the quantity of light received by the 2nd light receiving means, and when the quantity of light received by the 1st light receiving means exceeds a prescribed value, the normal light emission is controlled by the 2nd light quantity control means based on the quantity of light received by the 2nd light receiving means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
