<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a structure and a method for manufacturing the same suppressing variation of internal gap of a double row bearing part, preventing ground powder of a part from entering an inside of the double row bearing part at a time of assembly, and making axial direction dimension of a first and a second inner ring 2a, 2b substantially equal even if a structure installing a rotation detection device between a pair of the rolling element rows is adopted. <P>SOLUTION: A structure having an annular spacer 27 put between the first and second inner ring 2a, 2b is adopted. Internal gap of the double row bearing part is measured at a middle stage of assembly work of a bearing unit for supporting wheel, and axial dimension of the spacer 27 is adjusted to keep the inner gap in appropriate values when the measured value is not appropriate value.
