<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable turning air bubbles into discharge plasma, in a region of large volume by ultrasonic cavitation. <P>SOLUTION: The plasma generator 100 is constructed of a case 11 of nearly rectangular parallelepiped, a waveguide 31 of rectangular cross-section provided near the bottom of the case 11, and 9 pieces of ultrasonic generators 21a. By introducing treating liquid 40 here, treatment is performed, nine pieces of slots 310 are provided in two rows, along the longitudinal direction at the upper side of the wave guide with rectangular cross-section. This makes standing wave of TE<SB>10</SB>mode, generated inside the wave guide 31 of a rectangular cross-section. The nine pieces of supersonic generators 21 are arranged so that their vibration faces mutually face to respective nine pieces of slots 310. Thereby, by the nine pieces of slots 310 and the nine pieces of ultrasonic generators, ultrasonic cavitation is generated in a very wide area, that is, in a area of large area and large volume, and making numerous air bubbles into discharge plasma can be made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
