<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skimming preventing method for preventing the so-called "skimming crime" of stealing information in useful information recording media, such as magnetic cards, IC cards and IC tags by transferring from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: A conductive material 1, such as an aluminum plate, is disposed on a peripheral part (e.g., a corner part) of the IC card which is one of the useful information recording media.
