<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nip roller capable of applying uniform tension to a plastic sheet without occurrence of deflection due to its own weight because of lightness in weight and high rigidity. <P>SOLUTION: The nip roller is used for an exposing device for exposing a pattern to a sheet formed by laminating a photosensitive resin composition for forming a color filter on a transparent continuous sheet-like base material, in which the nip roller holding the sheet is formed of a ceramic-metal matrix composite. The ceramic reinforcing material of the ceramic-metal matrix composite is SiC and the metal matrix is Si, and the content of the ceramic reinforcing material is preferably 30 to 80 vol.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
