PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing method for an optical recording medium which reduces futility of data contamination, and enables high speed data reproduction and control relating to a reproduction method of an optical recording medium. SOLUTION: The reproducing device of the optical recording medium is equipped with a reference light irradiation means for generating reproducing light by irradiating the optical recording medium recorded with information by a hologram with reference light, a two-dimensional imager capable of photodetecting the reproducing light and partially reading-out the same, a partial read-out controller for controlling the partial read-out of the information recorded to the two-dimensional imager, and an information processing section for performing prescribed processing by using the partially read-out information. The partially read-out information is a position detection marker, and the information processing section performs the position correction between the reproducing light and the two-dimensional imager by using the partially read-out position detection marker.
