PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically wire a plurality of wirings each having a different width extending in an X-axis direction such that the width of a wiring region is minimum. SOLUTION: The wiring region is divided into a plurality of subregions along an X-axis, and the sum of wiring widths of wiring included in the subregion is calculated as the weight of the subregion. The wiring is disposed from wiring included in a subregion having large weights. Since wiring layout is implemented as limiting it to wiring in one subregion, an amount of calculation of the automatic wiring is reduced. Further, since the layout is performed from a subregion that most requires a wiring region width, there is reduced the possibility that wiring in other subregion is wider than the above wiring region and hence the number of times of relocation of wirings is reduced.
