PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which has satisfactory electrical characteristics in various environments and in which mechanical durability and electrical durability are made compatible with each other. SOLUTION: The charge transport layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor is comprised of two layers containing the enamine compound expressed by General Formula (1). The elastic power<SB>ηHU</SB>when the indentation maximum load 5 mN is loaded for 5 seconds in the environment of temperature 25°C of the surface side charge transport layer provided on the surface side facing outward and relative humidity 50% is≥47.0% and the elastic power<SB>ηHU</SB>of the charge generating layer side charge transport layer provided on the charge generating layer side is≤46.0%.
