PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a multiple oxide porous body containing zirconium and/or titanium, which has a high specific surface area and a regular fine pore structure. SOLUTION: The method for producing the multiple oxide porous body containing zirconium and/or titanium is characterized by forming a meso-structure from a zirconium salt and/or a titanium salt, and a surfactant, then introducing oxyacid anion of metal ion to be introduced into the multiple oxide into the obtained meso structure by bringing the meso structure into contact with an aqueous solution of the oxyacid anion of the metal ion, and firing the resulting meso structure.
